Engineering Recruitment Group are supporting the recruitment of a Supply Chain Planner for a leading manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role, balancing stock management with financial risk control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage stock levels to ensure availability while meeting working capital targets.
• Analyse sales trends and produce accurate forecasts to drive purchasing decisions.
• Lead monthly S&OP meetings and communicate production forecasts to manufacturing units.
• Monitor and manage metal risk, including paper hedging and reconciliation.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Support import/export processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Deputise for the Supply Chain Manager, providing leadership and problem-solving at senior level.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in supply chain planning or a similar role.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of commodities and financial tracking.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of import/export requirements and hedging practices.
