Are you a strategic and hands-on operations leader with a passion for exceptional food, flawless service, and unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for a Head of Operations to lead and scale our Events Catering division across a dynamic portfolio of venues and off-site event locations.

My client is a fast-growing, premium events catering company working with iconic venues, corporate clients, and private events across the UK. From intimate receptions to large-scale festivals and galas, they pride themselves on delivering creativity, precision, and high-end hospitality.

The Role

As Head of Operations, you will be at the helm of our multi-site events catering operations. You will lead a team of events managers, chefs, logistics coordinators, and service staff, ensuring seamless planning and delivery of events from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational performance across multiple venues and event sites
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of operational and on-site leaders
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Event Design teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction
• Implement and monitor operational processes to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Lead logistics, staffing, compliance, health & safety, and supplier relationships
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of event delivery
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting with a focus on profitability and growth

About You

• Proven experience in a senior operations role within high-end events catering or hospitality
• Experience managing multiple sites, venues, or large-scale event operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Passionate about food, service, and creating exceptional experiences
