Junior Motion Designer


Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £34,000–£45,000 DOE

Contract: 6 month FTC with potential to go permanent


About the Agency

I’m working on behalf of a leading PR and creative agency that continues to grow despite wider industry consolidation. With their consumer teams busier than ever, they’re investing in their in-house studio and are now looking to add a Junior Motion Designer to the creative team.

The existing studio includes a Creative Director, Art Director, Senior Designer and two Midweight Designers. This new role will strengthen their motion and animation capability, working across a wide range of high-profile consumer campaigns.


The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Motion Designer to develop in a fast-paced, award-winning environment. You’ll be responsible for bringing creative ideas to life through 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and video content, working closely with the senior creative team.

It’s an ideal next step for someone with around a year of experience who’s eager to learn, grow and take on diverse, exciting briefs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging 2D and 3D motion graphics, animations, and video edits for campaigns and social content.
  • Translate static design concepts into dynamic moving assets.
  • Collaborate with designers, art directors and account teams to deliver standout creative.
  • Adapt quickly to different types of briefs, from reactive social posts to larger integrated campaigns.
  • Contribute fresh ideas while developing your technical and creative craft.

Candidate Profile

  • Around 1 year’s experience in motion or design, ideally within an agency or studio setting.
  • Strong ability in After Effects (2D); some knowledge of Cinema4D, Blender or similar (3D) a bonus.
  • Solid design foundations – typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Strong communicator – collaborative, chatty, and a good cultural fit.
  • A portfolio/showreel showcasing 2D and 3D work, creativity and potential.
  • PR, social or consumer campaign experience preferred but not essential.
