Children's Speech & Language Therapist (Autism & LD)

£70 p/h

Essential:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration (or equivalent professional body).
• Formal training and certification in ADOS and ADI-R administration.
• Experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related communication difficulties.
• Strong clinical report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Autism assessments for children and young people using ADOS and ADI-R, alongside other standardised tools.
• Provide detailed diagnostic reports and clinical formulations to inform recommendations for families, schools, and referring professionals.
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, paediatricians, occupational therapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary assessment pathway.
• Deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions to support communication, interaction, and social development in children with Autism and related needs.
