Law Costs Draftsperson – Fully Remote

Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Hours: Flexible – Full-time or Part-time

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are working with a respected and fast-growing law costs practice seeking an experienced Law Costs Draftsperson to join their team. This is a fully remote role offering genuine flexibility, autonomy, and exposure to a wide range of complex, high-value legal matters.

As a Law Costs Draftsperson, you will be responsible for:

• Drafting bills of costs, budgets, and statements of costs
• Advising clients on costs strategy and attending CCMCs/CMCs where required
• Reviewing files thoroughly and accurately using Proclaim and CostsMaster
• Negotiating with opposing parties to achieve favourable results
• Managing a diverse caseload across areas including:
• Personal Injury
• Clinical Negligence
• Industrial Disease
• Credit Hire
• Commercial Litigation

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Solid experience as a Law Costs Draftsperson across multiple claim types
• Strong drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Proclaim, CostsMaster, and CM systems
• The ability to meet billing targets and manage deadlines effectively
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the confidence to work independently
