Join enfinium as Head of Fuel Operations
Location: Based in Yorkshire at either Ferrybridge or Skelton but with travel across the enfinium fleet 
Reporting to: Operations Director

Are you ready to lead fuel operations at one of the UK’s leading energy-from-waste companies?
enfinium is transforming waste into sustainable energy, with a processing capacity of 2.3 million tonnes—set to grow to 3 million tonnes by 2026. We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Fuel Operations to join our senior Operations team and play a pivotal role in securing, managing, and delivering fuel across our national fleet.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead a national team to source and manage fuel delivery, logistics, and contingency planning.
• Drive customer service excellence across our facilities—ensuring fast, reliable, and efficient vehicle turnaround.
• Champion waste quality management, including CV analysis, unacceptable waste prevention, and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and advise on strategic direction for waste feedstock.
• Build strong relationships with fuel customers, becoming their trusted partner of choice.
• Collaborate with site operations and commercial teams to optimise fuel delivery and identify new opportunities.
• Represent enfinium at senior leadership level, contributing to strategic goals and values.

Who We’re Looking For

• A seasoned professional with experience in waste, transport, or logistics sectors.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and operational delivery.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and financial insight.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder, able to influence at all levels.
• Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement
