Household Management Assistant

Full-time | Monday to Friday | Up to £28,000 + Benefits | Car Driver Required

My client is seeking a Household Management Assistant to support the smooth running of a beautifully maintained private residence in Old Knebworth. This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care.


About the Role

You’ll be working closely with a well-established domestic team, supporting both home and office operations, and helping ensure everything runs like clockwork.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Household Manager with day-to-day team coordination
  • Keeping diaries and daily actions up to date with precision and clarity
  • Conducting regular walk-throughs to ensure cleaning and presentation meet expectations
  • Managing inventories, uniforms, and timesheets with accuracy
  • Booking appointments and handling logistics with care including for two friendly Labradors
  • Attending meetings and contributing to weekly reports for senior leadership
  • Providing cover and support across the team when needed


Qualifications

  • A confident driver with a valid UK license and access to a car


Required Skills

  • Trustworthy and discreet, with a natural sense of responsibility
  • Well-presented and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks calmly
  • Flexible and cheerful, with a positive approach to teamwork
  • Comfortable around dogs and happy to assist with their care


Pay range and compensation package

  • Starting salary up to £28,000
