Bid Writer (hybrid however more flexible working arrangements considered) in Birmingham

Job description

I am currently working with an award winning, ambitious company who provide translation and interpreting to the public sector, predominantly the NHS. They are looking for a bid writer to join their growing team in Birmingham.

This role would suit a bid writer who has previous healthcare bid writing experience and has strong knowledge of NHS procurement processes. You will have excellent written skills, be well organised, have the ability to use AI to improve bids and be digitally savvy.

This role can be hybrid (2 days in Birmingham for applicants within 50 miles) or remote working with travel to the office 1-2 times per month for applicants further afield. Please not there will be a requirement for more office attendance in the initial month or so whilst you get up to speed. The salary is £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus uncapped commission.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identify upcoming opportunities through tender sites
• Work with departmental teams on to identify strength to create winning bids
• Review past tenders and identify areas for improvement to create winning bids
• Search out and participate in engagement events MEQs, RFQs
• Anticipate, research and prepare materials for future bids to streamline bid processes
• Apply winning techniques and principles to create winning tenders
• Evaluate unsuccessful bids, gaining, interpreting and addressing feedback to ensure future success
• Create a glossary of responses/bid library and create a streamlined bid process
• Manage bid pipelines to ensure opportunities align with targets
• Support the marketing team to write content for our target markets
