Employment Associate in London Area

Job description

I am working alongside a reputable, national law firm in London who are seeking an Associate to join their well-established and growing Employment team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in complex advisory and contentious matters, often with a cross-border dimension. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of matters, from employment relations advice and tribunal litigation to transactional support for major deals. You will have exposure to an impressive client portfolio spanning sectors such as finance, logistics, mobility, technology, and retail. With appropriate supervision and strong development opportunities, you will enjoy a varied caseload that will both challenge and progress your career.

The Team:

• The team is recognised for delivering pragmatic, timely, and solutions-focused advice to a strong client base. Their work primarily involves advising employers, with some individual advisory work, covering both contentious and non-contentious matters. They also support high-profile corporate transactions, so prior experience in transactional employment work will be particularly valuable.

The Role:

• Advise on a broad range of employment relations issues.
• Act on employment tribunal litigation.
• Support corporate transactions with employment law expertise.

You will manage a varied caseload, with the right balance of autonomy, supervision, and development opportunities to help you grow. This role offers direct access to high-quality work for an impressive portfolio of clients, as well as the chance to collaborate with colleagues across their UK and Brussels offices.

The Candidate:

• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• An interest or track record in providing employment support on corporate transactions.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• A collaborative, team-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a national network.
• A commitment to delivering excellent service and practical solutions.
