Interior Technologist in City of London

Job description

One of the best Interior Design firms in central London are looking to expand the technical team with two technical designers or technologist that have experience in commercial fit-out interiors.

This firm is a multi award winning, not just for their projects but their outstanding work culture and supportive environments across their multiple offices. They have made a name for themselves on a global scale reaching as far as the US and UAE.

Key responsibilities :

• Required to work closely within a close knit project team & expected to positively contribute and communicate
• Assisting the on design documentation ensuring designs are Building Regulation compliant
• Primarily working in Stages 3 & 4 producing documentation for Tender & Construction
• Technical package drawing delivery including partitions, joinery & architectural metalwork required
• Updating and managing the Revit model regularly
• Coordination of consultant services drawings and models
• Minute taking & site reports
• Site visits to inspect the progress of the works
• Eventually liaise with contractor and specialist trade contractors
• Presence on site to monitor live projects and work with contractor teams to resolve queries

Qualifications, skills & experience:

• Qualified Architectural/Interiors Technologist or Technician
• Experience of working on large scale commercial projects desirable
• Proven experience working across RIBA Stage 3-5
• Experience of managing a complex Revit model and coordinating with other consultants
• Fully proficient in Revit, AutoCad and Microsoft Office
• Good working knowledge of other software, e.g. Word, Excel, Enscape
• Experience of NBS Software, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp desirable
