CAD Operator

The role

The role will be to produce drawings/designs of bespoke telecommunications cabinets and cabling infrastructure utilising AutoCad 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Production of high-quality CAD drawings Systems Integration.
• Managing the priorities for completion of CAD drawings.
• Maintenance of the register of all General Arrangement drawings.
• Conversion of drawings into different formats as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Educated to a minimum of HNC level in a relevant technical subject.

Experience

• Competent in the use of the latest AutoCAD 2026 release
• Experience of working in a similar environment.

• Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage tasks and resources in an environment where some or all may be dependent and inter-related.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be able to deal with multiple interruptions from various sources throughout the day.
• Must be able to work to project deadlines.
