Allerton Bishop is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company to appoint a Head of Manufacturing. As the Head of Manufacturing, you will lead a team of Production Managers and shift team leaders through the day to day challenges of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This is a senior leadership role within a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and you will lead the manufacturing operations and production teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and recruit GMP Manufacturing Operations and Production teams.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling & facility compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement in manufacturing, quality & safety.
• As the Head of Manufacturing, you will work closely with the Engineering team to oversee site investment and extension of manufacturing capacity.
• Lead technical transfer and project management of new product introductions.

Your Background:

• Degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Extensive GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Strong track record in managing manufacturing teams.
• Technical understanding of tabletting, aseptic steriles or biopharmaceuticals is essential.
