Product Owner in City of London

Job description

A leading insurance company, recognised for its innovation and growth-oriented environment is seeking a Product Owner to join its International portfolio.

This Product Owner will be working alongside 2 other POs, responsible for the digital products for all functions and all classes of business including UW, Ops, Exposure Management, Claims, Finance, and Actuarial.

As a Product Owner, you will:

• Own everything to do with your technical products - a mixture of bespoke and third-party.
• Contribute to aligning execution to overall business goals and helping drive growth, process efficiencies, and digital transformation.
• Play a key role in transforming underwriting and operations through technology and digital migration, helping achieve.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring business value is maximized.
• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ensure product delivery meets the definition of done, quality standards, and business vision.
• Incorporate feedback and track benefit realisation post-release.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product or Technical Business Analyst role within the London Market insurance industry.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Rally or JIRA.
