The Role

We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance across the business, working closely with and supporting the Head of HR. You will play a key role in managing employee relations, advising managers, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to influence and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of HR in delivering the HR strategy and business priorities.
  • Advise and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Manage and support employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence).
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Contribute to HR policy development and implementation.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.


Who you are

You are a skilled HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of HR processes and employment law, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels. You are confident advising managers and thrive in a role that combines operational HR with project involvement.


Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident in handling employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
