The Facilities HSEQ Officer will provide essential support to our Operational Teams by driving measurable improvements in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) performance across the account.

Job Description

You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining robust Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Your leadership will foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement, aligning business practices with industry best standards and organisational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on Statutory and Legislative Compliance across the contract, alerting managers and staff as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal business systems through regular audits and monitoring.
  • Support the implementation of the UK HSEQ strategy, policies, and business plans across the region.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on HSEQ matters, including incident investigations, culture change, and internal auditing.
  • Assist in delivering and monitoring internal and client audits in line with ISO standards 45001, 9001, and 14001.
  • Drive a consistent approach to HSEQ, collaborating with teams to embed the ‘Stronger, Simpler, Closer’ framework.
  • Coordinate audits, insurance claims, subcontractor duty of care, and clinical adverse event procedures.


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Strong compliance background with proven experience in facilities management.
  • Extensive knowledge industry standards and best practices.
  • Resides locally to the hospital for quick response and availability.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent with IOSH membership
