Overview

Carter Rolan Group are currently recruiting for a Head of Transport, Logistics & Warehousing working for a reputable and growing SME Manufacturing (components and equipment manufacturers) business within the Cardiff area. This is a full time, on site role reporting in to the Operations Director.

Your new Head of Transport, Logistics & Warehousing role

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and play an important role in overseeing the transport, logistics and warehousing function, managing and implementing strategy.

What you will need to succeed in this Head of Transport & Logistics role

• Extensive experience within Transport, Logistics and Warehousing
• End to end supply chain management experience including international export and freight management
• Strong Continuous improvement experience and mindset
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to fully understand budget and financial targets
• Stakeholder management experience internal and external
• Experience of fleet and export management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Flexible & adaptable to the changing requirements of the business
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressures
