Italy | 4 Days Onsite (Weekly Travel)

£600 – £650 per day (Outside IR35) + Expenses

Infraspec is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead for a major pharmaceutical refurbishment project in Italy. You’ll lead the project controls function, ensuring robust governance, reliable reporting, and performance oversight across cost, schedule, change, and risk.

The Role

• Lead and mentor the project controls team, embedding best practice
• Deliver reporting and analysis (S-curves, change waterfall, KPIs) to senior stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Project Management Framework (PMF) and governance standards
• Conduct deep dives into cost, schedule, and risk, providing foresight on impacts and corrective actions
• Support health checks, Gate Reviews, and audits to maintain delivery confidence

About You

• Strong background in pharma, hospitals, M&E, or complex construction projects
• Expertise in Primavera P6, cost management, and risk tools (QSRA/QCRA, Monte Carlo)
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary controls teams on major projects
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to turn data into actionable insights
