Are you a confident HR professional ready to make a real impact in a vibrant academic community? My client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR Advisory team.

Role

As an HR Advisor, you’ll be a trusted partner to managers and teams across the business—providing expert guidance on employment matters, leading employee relations casework, and supporting the delivery of strategic People Plans. You’ll play a key role in shaping their culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring their HR practices are legally sound and future ready.

Key Highlights

• Advise on employment law, HR policies, and conflict resolution
• Lead employee relations case management and change initiatives (including TUPE)
• Coach managers on leadership, performance, and talent development
• Collaborate on central HR projects and policy evolution
• Influence across all levels with confidence and credibility

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Proven experience in HR advisory and employee relations, ideally within the Higher Education or Health Care sector
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
