Paid Social Lead in London Area

Job description

Our client a leading global media business and one of the biggest creators of social content in the world is looking for a commercially minded Paid Social Lead to take charge of their paid campaign strategy and delivery across their vast social ecosystem and fast-growing network of digital-first brands.

This is a role that combines platform expertise, campaign optimisation, and team leadership. You’ll be the go-to on all things paid - from shaping strategy and managing budgets to ensuring campaigns cut through with the right audiences.

The ideal candidate will already be in a similar Lead role with 4-6 years specific paid social experience ideally within an agency and be able to bring a fresh perspective to this media giant.

Key Responsibilities

> Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid social campaigns.

> Own paid social budgets, pacing, targeting, and delivery.

> Partner closely with commercial and editorial teams.

> Develop paid social playbooks, testing strategies, and performance frameworks.

> Train, mentor, and oversee best practice.

> Manage relationships with multiple platforms

> Report clearly on campaign performance, turning insight into action.

About You

> 4–6+ years experience in paid social, ideally within a publisher, agency, or brand.

> Proven track record running six-figure+ campaigns across multiple platforms.

> Strong grasp of media buying, audience targeting and optimisation strategies.

> Data-led, but with a strong editorial/commercial eye

> Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and clients.

> Excited by building and scaling a new media proposition at speed.
