A leading global organisation and long-term Workday customer is looking for a skilled and driven Workday Absence & Time Tracking Lead to join their People Technology function in London.

This is a fantastic chance to step into a key role within a well-established and supportive HR systems team, helping to shape and enhance Workday across a diverse, international business environment.


This is a permanent role with a hybrid setup, requiring attendance at the Central London office two to three days per week. The position offers a salary of up to £80,000, plus a performance-related bonus and a full benefits package.


As the Workday Absence & Time Tracking Lead, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management, development, and optimisation of Workday Absence and Time Tracking. Acting as the go-to expert in these areas, you’ll work closely with HR, HRIS, and Payroll teams to deliver effective configurations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing transformation initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking, alongside an understanding of how these modules integrate with global payroll platforms. You’ll also bring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.


Workday Absence & Time Tracking Lead – Key Experience:

  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence and Time Tracking in a complex environment
  • Knowledge of how these modules interact with different payroll systems
  • Track record in both BAU support and project-based enhancements or rollouts
  • Ability to gather requirements, provide guidance, and translate business needs into system solutions
  • International exposure is highly advantageous
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Willingness to work in the London office two to three days per week
  • Full right to work in the UK
