Commercial Upholsterer / Contract Upholsterer – Nationwide Projects

Salary (Employed): Up to £35,000 + Unlimited Overtime

Total Earnings: £40,000–£50,000+ (current team average)

Contractor Option: £240 per day (Self-Employed, van & tools required)

The Role:

As a Commercial Upholsterer, you’ll travel to client venues to carry out high-quality on-site upholstery work, including:

• Upholstery repair & restoration for commercial furniture.
• Cutting, sewing, top-stitching, quilted and button-back work using a mobile sewing setup.
• Working independently to deliver professional results under tight deadlines.
• Occasional overnight stays (all expenses covered if employed).

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background in commercial upholstery, furniture production, or restoration.
• Skilled in mobile sewing machines, top-stitching, quilted upholstery, and button-back techniques.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Contractors must provide their own van, tools, and fuel (with top-up support for longer trips).
