Job description
We are working with a top-tier international law firm who are looking for a Restructuring Solicitor to join their Finance team within their London office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly experienced team, advising on a broad range of high-profile stakeholders, such as insolvency practitioners and financial institutions, on complex restructuring matters and strategies for recovery and turnaround.
The candidate will play a key role in cross-border insolvency litigation practices, pursuing and defending claims arising from insolvency, antecedent transaction claims, cross-border insolvency disputes and other asset recovery processes. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
- 4+ years’ PQE;
- Strong background in contentious insolvency, within a city or leading national or international firm;
- Demonstrable commercial awareness;
- Strong academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Supervisory skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
