About the Company

We are partnered with a well-established and growing construction specialist, delivering projects across the healthcare sector, as well as a range of commercial and public sector clients. With a reputation built on quality, collaboration, and innovation, our clients prides themselves on securing and delivering complex projects that make a genuine difference.

The Role

We’re seeking a talented Bid Writer to join our pre-construction team. Working closely with senior leaders, estimators, and project managers, you will play a key role in developing winning tenders and proposals that showcase our expertise and values.

This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of office collaboration in Cheshire and home working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and structure bid responses, PQQs, and tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex project information into clear, persuasive content.
  • Ensure all submissions are tailored, compelling, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Maintain and develop a library of case studies, CVs, and bid materials.
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes and content quality.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, ideally within construction or a related sector.
  • Strong written communication and research skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in healthcare construction projects is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive, team-focused approach.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £55,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working for a better work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have real community impact.
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture.

If you’re looking for a role where your expertise will directly contribute to the growth and success of a respected construction business, we’d love to hear from you.
