About the Opportunity:

We’re excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a long-term contract supporting a prestigious client based in Cumbria. What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be instrumental in supporting the financial and commercial performance of the project. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Cost Management: Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of project cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Commercial Administration: Support general commercial functions including documentation, applications for payment, and compensation event tracking.
  • Subcontractor Support: Help assess and process subcontractor applications and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Collaboration: Liaise effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure project delivery is well-coordinated and aligned.
  • Support Senior QS: Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to maintain project financials, time sheet entry, and reporting.


What You’ll Need:

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical and analytical skills to support effective cost management.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a commercial landscape or commercial administration (preferred).
  • Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable but not essential.
