A leading national law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Barrister to join its highly regarded Regulatory Division. Recognised in the top tier by Legal 500 and Chambers UK for Professional Discipline, the team is known for its work with health and social care regulators, legal services, and education bodies. This is an opportunity to be part of a practice that handles some of the most complex and high-profile regulatory cases in the UK.

The successful candidate will play a key role in presenting cases at substantive hearings and representing regulators at interim and case management hearings. You’ll work on matters involving serious professional misconduct, including dishonesty, fraud, and sexual misconduct, and support vulnerable witnesses. There will also be scope to contribute to case strategy, draft legal documents, and engage in advisory work with clients. Depending on experience, there may be opportunities to appear in the High Court and First Tier Tribunal.

We’re looking for candidates with strong advocacy experience, ideally within professional discipline or fitness to practise contexts, though we welcome applications from those with relevant transferable skills. You’ll join a collaborative team with access to full training and development support.
