Product Assurance Lead in Central Bedfordshire

Our client, a high profile defence company, urgently require an experienced Product Assurance Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience of programmes within Space domain (ESA, NASA, MoD)
• Strong knowledge of Space industry standards (ECSS, ISO)
• Familiarity with configuration management and quality auditing
• Able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with live SC will be prioritised)

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and managing Product Assurance Safety plans aligned with ECSS, AS9100, ISO 9001
• Defining and flowing down Product Assurance requirements to suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting design reviews (PDR, CDR) and product milestones (MRR, TRR, TRB)
• Managing non-conformances and deviations (NCR, RFD/RFW)
• Leading customer acceptance and delivery processes (DRB)
• Maintaining Product Assurance databases and quality records for reporting and review
• Implementing quality tools for risk management and lessons learned
• Liaising with customer Product Assurance representatives throughout the project lifecycle
