Compliance Business Partner in City of London

We are proud to be supporting a leading global insurance broker, who are hiring a Compliance Business Partner to join their London-based team.

This role partners with a specialist insurance business to provide strategic compliance oversight and advisory support. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping the business navigate regulatory requirements and embed effective governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary compliance contact for regulatory and governance queries.
• Attend governance meetings and provide updates on regulatory developments and risks.
• Advise on the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support new business models, products, and processes with compliance input.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and assess business impact.
• Collaborate across the compliance advisory team to share insights and support initiatives.

About You:

• Proven experience in compliance within the London insurance market (broker or insurer).
• Strong understanding of the FCA Handbook and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to regulation.
• Organised, proactive, and collaborative.

Desirable Qualifications:

• ACII or other insurance industry qualification.
• ICA Diploma or equivalent compliance accreditation.
• Project management experience.
