Data SME – Defence & National Security

Up to £110,000 + £6,600 car allowance + 20% Bonus

DV Cleared | Hybrid (Bristol, London, Manchester, or Glasgow)

Are you an experienced Data SME with a proven record of driving large-scale data transformation programmes within Defence or National Security?

We're seeking a Data Transformation Consultant / Data SME to lead high-impact initiatives that shape the future of data in mission-critical environments.

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work primarily from home, with travel to client sites as needed.

Due to the nature of the work, active DV clearance is essential.

As a Data Transformation Consultant / Data SME:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end data transformation programmes in secure Defence environments.
• Act as the go-to Data SME, providing expert data consultation to senior stakeholders across Defence and National Security.
• Identify, design, and implement new data-driven opportunities, driving measurable outcomes.
• Guide clients through complex data consultation processes, from strategy to execution.
• Represent the business as a recognised Data SME, elevating its presence at key Defence and Aerospace industry events.

To secure the role as a Data SME you will need to have:

• Proven experience delivering major data transformation or IT programmes in Defence or National Security.
• Strong technical expertise in solutions such as IBP, Control Towers, and enterprise platforms.
• Background in expanding Defence consulting portfolios, with a focus on data consultation delivery.
• Deep understanding of how data supports mission success in secure environments.
• Active DV clearance is essential.
