We are now looking for a Furniture Product Merchandiser / Buyer to join our UK team and play a pivotal role in shaping our product range and strategy for the local market.


Role Overview

As a Furniture Product Merchandiser/ Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and managing product ranges tailored to the UK market. You will work closely with our HQ Merchandising team to ensure that product assortment, pricing, and strategy alignment with local consumer preferences and market trends. This role requires strong commercial acumen, market knowledge, and the ability to bridge global product strategy with UK consumer demand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Select, source, and manage furniture product ranges, including various options, and demand forecast for UK.
  • Provide product, pricing, and market insights/ feedbacks to HQ Merchandising team.
  • Conduct market survey/ research and analyse consumer behaviour, demographics, and competitors’ activities.
  • Develop product and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on product launches, promotions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as the key liaison between HQ and the UK business for overall product and assortment decisions.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Product Merchandiser in the furniture, home, or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK consumer trends and market dynamics.
  • Expertise in product selection, pricing, and SKU management.
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Computing and technology knowhow
  • Must - Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Preferably Monday.com, SAP, DOMO and other BI tools
