Job description

1.1.   Description 

Working with the leading manufacturer of Tyre Sealants, you will be placed at the front of our R&D initiatives, creating innovative products and problem-solving. Working for a family business operating since 1978, you will report directly to the business owner.  The position is based in Lutterworth, UK. The role is available on a two-year basis and could be extended.

Salary - £45,000 depending on experience

1.2.   Tasks 

The applicant will be expected to perform the following core tasks

• Analysis of ingredients and impact on product behaviour;
• Maintaining Formula Files and tracking prototypes;
• Performing lab testing;
• Producing Samples;
• Liaising and coordinating projects with third-party laboratories;
• Competitor Product analysis; and
• Practical testing on tyres and vehicles where necessary.

1.3.   Skillset and Experience 

• Hardworking and reliable;
• Self starter;          
• Experienced problem solver;                
• Must have Project leader experience and management skills;   
• Ability to work independently and prioritise efficiently;   
• Experienced in leading projects
• Fluent in English communications skills; written and on the phone;  
• IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook; and
• Pleasant and enthusiastic.
