Looking for a RAM Modeler with at least 5 years experience in oil and gas working on large projects.


A RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) Modeler is responsible for developing and analyzing models to assess and improve the performance, reliability, and maintenance of systems or processes. Their key responsibilities include:


  • Creating RAM Models: Building mathematical or simulation-based models to predict system reliability, availability, and maintainability using tools like Monte Carlo simulations or Markov analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data on system performance, failure rates, and maintenance schedules to identify trends and potential improvements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying potential failure points and assessing their impact on system performance to mitigate risks.
  • Optimization: Recommending design or process changes to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime or maintenance costs.
  • Collaboration: Working with engineers, designers, and project managers to integrate RAM principles into system development and operations.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for decision-making.


RAM modelers ensure systems operate efficiently, meet performance standards, and minimize operational disruptions.
