Location: Leeds or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + commission scheme

The role of the Estimator – Acoustic Systems will involve:

• Estimator position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured soundproofing systems such as: acoustic walls, acoustic ceilings, acoustic screens and bespoke systems
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand scope and requirements
• Prepare formal quotations and submit within required timeframes
• Work with the sales team to support bids and tenders, providing technical and pricing input
• Support negotiations with customers on pricing, specification changes, and value engineering options
• Update and manage estimating software, price lists, and standard product costing models
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £50k up to circa £2m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Acoustic Systems with:

• Must have experience as an Estimator within the construction / manufacturing market sector OR within Technical Sales dealing with acoustics, partitions, ceilings, wall covers, panels, construction fabrics, or anything involving reflected ceilings plans (RCPS)
• Ideally will have an understanding of ceilings, partitions, fit-out, panels and acoustics
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, with a sound understanding of Excel)
• Technically minded individual with strong numerical skills
• Willing to learn and adapt to new environments
