Part-Time Event Facilitator / Experience Host (US, CA, UK, AUS)

Closer is hiring Event Facilitators / Experience Hosts / Social Event Leaders to help lead small, thoughtfully structured gatherings in cities across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

This part-time, paid role is perfect for people with backgrounds in event hosting, community building, coaching, education, hospitality, theater, group facilitation, or simply being the one who always gathers friends.

What You’ll Do

As a Closer Facilitator, you’ll:

• Host our signature “Intro Dinner” experiences designed to turn strangers into friends
• Guide the flow of the evening, welcome attendees, and create space for honest connection
• Represent the Closer brand and uphold our ethos of warmth, ease, and belonging
• Lightly facilitate group discussions that make it easy for people to open up

Events are 2 hours and take place on weekday evenings.

You’re someone who:

• Loves helping people feel at home
• Can lead a group with presence and calm
• Reads the room and keeps conversations flowing
• Is reliable, organized, and people-first
• Has experience with facilitation, teaching, performing, coaching—or just being a connector

✅ The Details

• $100 per event (plus access to member events at 50% off)
• Flexible: commit to at least 2 events/month
• Must be based in or near a major city
• Quick onboarding: shadow one event, lead one, hop on a debrief
• Closer membership required (you’ll get a discount for being on the team)
