Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. CFT is represented in over 28 countries, employing over 2,500 people.

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Junior Broker to be based in our London office.

Main responsibilities within the Junior Broker position include:


  • Support Brokers with their daily activities across futures and options.
  • Assist in a global coverage model where the clients are shared with the opportunity to work abroad. Applicants from all countries considered.
  • Liaise and keep strong relationships with other global offices following the sun model.
  • Liaise with the middle and back office to follow up any issues regarding trades.
  • Cultivate own currency specialty within global model.
  • Work with the desk to build and add clients to global coverage model.
  • Regularly update all platforms with the latest data, managing autospreaders and clearing needs.
  • Liaising with clients to maintain strong relationships, including out of office hours engagements.
  • Ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies and external regulations that relate to you and your role.
  • Be aware of and compliant with operational risk requirements (e.g. Behaviour, security policies & regulatory requirements).
  • Any other duties reasonably requested.


Key skills and experience required in this role:


  • Ability to be self-sufficient, a quick thinker.
  • Knowledge of Futures and Options.
  • General business administration experience.
  • Excellent people & communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet explorer).
  • Strong mental arithmetic.


Working Hours: 1pm - 10pm, this role will be facing US Markets.
