The Role

The Head of Technical Services will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of technical services across a diverse property portfolio. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, driving innovation, and delivering the highest standards of service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to engineering and technical teams.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring statutory and contractual compliance.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a proven leader in technical or engineering services, with a strong background in facilities management. They will combine deep technical knowledge with commercial awareness and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in a senior technical leadership role within facilities management or building services.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and industry best practice.
• Commercial acumen, with demonstrable experience managing budgets and contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
