Job description
Our client, a successful and multi site food manufacturer are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to work as a partner to the site leadership team, responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the Continuous Improvement strategy in line with business expectations.
The role will champion a vision for Continuous Improvement and embed sustainable improvement practices and organisational capability to support business transformation. You will influence, engage, and develop managers across all shifts to create a high-performance culture that drives and motivates operational excellence.
Your core responsibilities will be:
- To develop and deliver a strategic CI roadmap which is aligned with the business and transformation priorities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to embed CI into strategic planning and investment and operational reviews.
- Establish and lead frameworks to include KPIs and reporting.
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional CI projects to deliver measurable improvements.
- Create and develop a network of CI Representatives to drive staff engagement and innovation.
- Ensure consistency with 5S practices and targets.
- Develop and implement a CI strategy that focuses on KPIs such as OEE, MSA, CPMU, MUV, CPT, and Quality Control.
- Influence leaders to adopt CI thinking in functional strategies and long-term planning.
Skills required:
- Proven ability to pursue operational challenges into strategic CI opportunities.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- Proven success in leading CI programmes or transformation initiatives.
- Track record of building CI capability and leading cultural change.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt although Black Belt preferred.
