ALT Agency are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, ambitious and driven Web Designer. Join a growing team within an already successful agency.


Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the briefing and design of websites for our clients.


Working within our Web Design team, you will be directly responsible for achieving results for a number of our existing clients. 


A strategic understanding of Web Design is vital for this role.


This is an exciting time to join the business and establish yourself within a rapidly growing team.


Your work will include:

· Having a strategic understanding of client businesses

· An understanding of marketing channels such as Web design, UX, UI and Responsive Design

· Creation of wireframes and mock ups

· Implementing web page interactions & micro interactions as required

· Analysis of analytics, hotjar etc to understand friction points and suggest improvements

· Presenting designs to clients and the wider digital team

· Be involved in client phone, video and face to face meetings

· Keeping up to date with latest design, design software and AI design tools


The ideal candidate will have:

· Exceptional web design portfolio

· Experience in CRO and designing websites that convert

· Strong attention to detail and problem solving

· An ability to translate client briefs into full functional designs

· A clear understanding of user experience, user journey and CRO

· Working with tools such as Figma

· Highly analytical and data-driven mindset, with commercial awareness.

· You will be proactive and passionate

· You thrive in a fast-paced environment

· The ability to actively learn and take on new skills

· Positive, energetic and a great communicator within a team

· Excellent presentation skills


Experience with the below would be beneficial:

· 2+ years in a web agency environment

· Experience with eCommerce CRO

· Strong analytical skills to analyse websites against key competitors to identify opportunities for performance improvement
