Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced International Payroll Coordinator with experience in EMEA to manage and support payroll operations across multiple countries. In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external payroll providers, and finance teams to maintain smooth and compliant payroll functions globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process payroll across multiple countries in collaboration with local payroll providers.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data including new hires, terminations, bonuses, commissions, and benefit deductions.
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist in audits and internal controls.
- Act as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and external partners.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper data flow and accounting for payroll transactions.
- Manage and maintain payroll records and ensure secure handling of confidential employee data.
- Support implementation of new payroll systems or providers in new markets.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes globally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in international EMEA or multi-country payroll coordination
- Solid understanding of global payroll compliance and tax regulations.
- Experience working with international payroll platforms (e.g., Paylocity/WebGlobe, ADP GlobalView, Workday, Papaya Global, Deel).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across time zones and with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, CIPP, or equivalents).
- Experience with expatriate payroll, shadow payroll, or global mobility practices.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
