Head of Capital in London Area

Job description

Bolton Associates are working exclusively on an exciting opportunity to join a newly established Lloyd’s syndicate as Head of Capital. This is a key leadership role, responsible for building and owning the internal capital model and capital strategy from the ground up.

The Role:

➡ Lead the development and delivery of the Internal Model and Lloyd’s capital submissions (SCR, ECA, etc.)

➡Partner closely with underwriters, finance, and risk to embed capital thinking across the business

➡Shape capital strategy and support investor and Lloyd’s engagement

➡Report directly into the Chief Actuary

You’ll Bring:

➡Deep knowledge of Lloyd’s capital modelling and Solvency II

➡Hands-on experience with internal model development and regulatory submissions

➡Entrepreneurial mindset – excited to build in a start-up environment

➡FIA qualified (or equivalent), with strong communication and leadership skills
