Designing, producing, and shooting everything from our London studio, we reject rigid fashion business models. As Garment Technologist you will be responsible for the development and production of quality Percival product by assisting the Product team with technical support throughout the design and manufacturing process; Foresee any potential issues, testing fabrics and garments, ensure that garments are made in line with the brands vision, fit profile, quality standards and budget.


Product Development and Testing

- Creation and management of workbooks, grade rules and block library.

- Manage fit sessions and fit log, ensuring Percival brand standards and consistency.

- Fit and risk assess all product areas.

- Managing testing process for fabric and garment. Wearer trials.

- Managing proto, pre production and shipment samples - measuring and communication of approvals / comments to suppliers.

- Management of samples including wholesale, and creation of gold seal samples.

- Presentation of product and feedback from product meetings.

- Implementation and management of the QC process.

- Ensure product fully legally compliant.

- Product developed in line with critical path - Timelines, KPIs.

- Achievement of returns target for product area and input to returns analysis.

- Manage critical path and PLM.

- Support Design with CADs.

- Contribute to strategy packs.


Supplier

- Clear communication with suppliers.

- Supplier visits carried out and visit reports completed.

- Contribute to supplier appraisal process.

- Ensure garments are always fitted on time and with the intention of helping to reduce returns.


Team

- Help develop and support members of the wider team.
