Lead Product Owner - Legal Firm - £120,000 + Bonus - Leeds

The Role

The Lead Product Owner will be accountable for the full lifecycle management of all products and services within one of the organisation’s Product teams. This includes the creation of new products and the continual improvement of existing ones in a modern DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Drive collaboration across the business to shape Product Strategies and Roadmaps.
• Be accountable for effective change delivery and live support within the Product team.
• Manage the overall Product team budget, vendor relationships, and customer engagement.
• Lead Product Engineering and Design Engineering teams, supported by a Principal Product Engineer.
• Provide matrix leadership for wider deployed Product team members.
• Champion modernisation, digitalisation, and Agile ways of working.

Skills and Experience

• Experience working in the legal sector
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with budget and supplier management experience.
• Experience in managing cloud-hosted solutions (SaaS, third party, and internally developed) in an international environment using ITIL best practice.
• Proven experience building, leading, and motivating teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong background in Agile delivery environments, with deep understanding of frameworks and practices.
