Pricing Actuary in City of London

Job description

A fast-growing insurer is seeking a Pricing Actuary to join their high-performing pricing team. With a focus on innovation and advanced data science, this role will give you the chance to directly influence pricing sophistication across multiple product lines and deliver commercial impact where it counts.

Key duties:

• Develop and enhance pricing models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Deliver analysis and insights that guide segmentation, performance monitoring, and strategy.
• Drive innovation by implementing new approaches that strengthen profitability and growth.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong background in actuarial, data science, or statistical roles.
• Proficiency in Python with UK motor pricing experience (GLMs/GBMs).
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders.
