Conflicts Advisor in London Area

Job description

We've partnered with a prestigious international law firm that’s looking to hire a Conflicts Advisor for their Risk & Compliance team in London.

This role calls for strong expertise in conflicts regulation and guidance, with a focus on leading by example to uphold the firm’s policies and processes. You’ll work closely with the Conflicts Manager to ensure these are implemented effectively.

You’ll also play a key role in supervising, training, and mentoring junior team member - supporting both their day-to-day work and long-term development - while contributing to wider firm initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Conflicts Manager in maintaining high standards across conflicts policies, processes, and systems, including timely conflict check clearances.
• Assisting with complex conflict escalations and serving as a point of escalation.
• Leading enhancements to conflict policies and workflows.
• Contributing to broader Risk & Compliance and firm-wide projects beyond your core specialism.

Applicant Expectations:

• 4 + years of experience providing guidance on complex conflicts and confidential information issues, ideally within an international law firm.
• Experience in using Intapp
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
