Chief Pricing Actuary in City of London

Job description

We are pleased to be working with a top tier international insurance business seeking a Chief Pricing Actuary to be based in London.

This role will have responsibility for a team of c. 50 pricing actuaries at a number of levels, spanning all areas of pricing work including individual deal pricing, model development, portfolio analysis and ensuring the function is at the forefront in specialty pricing.

This organisation is deal-focused and fast-moving, writing business across property, casualty and specialty risks, on multiple platforms. There will be the need to ensure there are consistently high outputs from the function to key stakeholders.

You will also work closely with senior leadership and also manage third-party relationships such as with brokers, regulators, and partners. There will also be a key person on committees such as the underwriting committee.

The pricing function continues to be an integral part of the company and as such is consistently growing to provide the best support possible. You will be tasked with providing development opportunities for your direct reporting but also have responsibility for recruiting exceptional talent into the function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chief Pricing Actuary/Head of Pricing with experience of managing a significant sized team, or those with the experience to take the step up to this level.
