Private Client Locum – Part Time, Remote

January 2026 start | 9–12 month contract

I’m working with a well-regarded South West firm that is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to provide cover on a part time basis. The role is fully remote and will begin in January, running for 9 to 12 months.

What’s on offer

• Support from a highly competent assistant who will prepare and welcome clients to online meetings
• Fairly standard caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters
• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience

What you’ll need

• Strong private client experience
• Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to advise confidently over video calls
• Tech savvy and comfortable working remotely
• Ideally your own equipment (laptop, headset, etc.) – if not, still apply and make this clear in your application
