Social Content Lead | Up to £55k | Flexible hybrid wfh/office (London)


Premier Sports have partnered with a digital media brand featuring some of the most well know names across rugby and the wider sporting world, that are looking for Social Content Lead to join their team and take the lead on the social strategy across all platforms.


The Company:

  • The biggest rugby show that combines the sporting world with wider pop-culture, engaging and maximising a wider audience
  • Rapidly expanding social channels, from a podcast, to live shows, content and commercial partnerships
  • London based office, with flexible hybrid model


The Role

  • Take the lead on the social strategy, and its sister company and brands
  • Managing a 3 function team, analysing long-term strategy and monthly / quarterly reports, ensuring ROI in campaigns
  • Social delivery of the weekly show, podcast, and bespoke social content campaigns
  • Managing the social schedule of both companies and social content across new emerging global brands
  • Hands-on with daily social content and editing, analysing output & providing performance feedback
  • Ensuring excellence in execution, posting engaging content, well-written copy, designing thumbnails and graphic - working closely with design, production and campaign teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Roughly 20% dedicated to editing and design work, 50% leading the team, briefing editors and designers, and managing workflow, and 30% meetings, ideation, admin and planning - with a view to increasing this strategic component over time.
  • Liaise with talent to share content across multiple channels, attending shoots and capturing additional social content
  • Paying close attention to market trends and new features across all major social platforms


Requirements:

  • Exceptional creativity, coming up with new ideas across the team
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, understanding algorithms & data to maximise online engagement
  • Rugby fan / knowledge is a MUST
  • Experience managing a high-paced, sports social media team a MUST
  • Channel Management (Youtube, TikTok, Instagram etc) is a MUST
  • Editing skills is a MUST
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Photoshop
  • Analytical view of content
  • Good under pressure, managing your own and others deadlines
