Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

London, 2 days per week in the office

Salary - £120,000

We are looking for an MLRO - salary £120,000. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role. UK-wide, 2 days per week in the office.

This role requires strong technical regulatory expertise, along with hands-on experience in retail banking and a high level of technical knowledge in financial crime.

This individual needs to be someone with a proactive and pragmatic attitude, a professional communication style, and a readiness for a step-up opportunity, but without requiring extensive leadership experience.

Must-haves:

• SME in financial crime risk; practical, hands-on operational execution
• Ability to independently run the second line financial crime oversight team
• Experience with control environment, assurance activities, governance routines; approval/review of PEPs/high-risk individuals/SARs
