Role Details:

To support procurement activities, starting from identifying needs, drafting NEC4 contract scope documentation, all the way to awarding contracts, by working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively coordinate and collate NEC4 contract scope document inputs from other specialists.
  • Author sections of NEC4 contract scope documentation in support of procurement events.
  • Peer review of contract scope documentation prepared by others.
  • Review of supplier tender proposals against issued scope documentation.
  • Chair team meetings to support development of scope documentation.
  • Input into project pipeline to ensure activities are undertaken in a timely manner to support delivery activities.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate and manage requirements to ensure scope alignment with programme objectives.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with project governance and procurement frameworks.


Key Requirements:

Essential -

  • Minimum five years in contract or project management roles.
  • In-depth experience with NEC4 contracts and Scope structuring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, effective in both team settings and independent work.
  • Attention to detail and clarity in conveying complex information.
  • Highly organised, deadline-focused team coordination.

Desirable -

  • Experience in nuclear or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with CEMAR contract management software.
