Legal Counsel (Employment) – UK & Ireland Operations

Fixed-Term Contract – 9 Months (Maternity Cover) Hybrid Working – 2 Days Office-Based

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, practical legal advice on employment law matters to internal stakeholders.
• Manage complex employee relations issues, including early conciliation, tribunal claims, and settlement agreements.
• Advise on TUPE, outsourcing, restructuring, redundancies, and industrial relations.
• Support implementation of new legislation and ensure compliant HR processes.
• Provide legal training to HR and business teams to promote awareness and best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent jurisdiction).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in employment law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial insight.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
