Ladieswear Buyer in Greater Manchester

Job description

dSb is working with an award winning non-fast fashion retailer who is seeking to appoint a Buyer to have ownership for their high performing Knitwear department as well as accountability for footwear and accessories.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with knitwear Design team to develop a market leading and commercial range.
• Manage the weekly buy
• Overseeing the critical path
• Manage supplier relationships
• Travel to Europe and Far East when required
• Deliver analytical plans alongside the Merchandising team

Experience required:

• Expert knowledge in yarns, gauges and knitwear manufacturing
• An experienced Ladieswear Junior Buyer or entry level Buyer from a knitwear background, ideally with some experience of working in a bricks & mortar retailer
• Able to work with data and Excel
• Commercial eye and knowledge of latest and forthcoming ladieswear trends with understanding of women's garment fits.
